Outwood Cricket Club enjoyed a night of celebration at the Kent County Village League (KCVL) awards supper, marking another outstanding season in 2024. The club secured the KCVL Division 1 league title for the fourth time in its history and the third consecutive year, highlighting their dominance in village cricket.
Adding to the club’s success, Jonny Wiley was named the KCVL Division 1 & 2 'Young Player of the Year'. Wiley’s exceptional bowling performances throughout the season earned him the prestigious accolade, but his impact extended beyond the field. His dedication to the club was recognized, with contributions including assisting with the spring opening and autumn close-downs, as well as coaching young players in Outwood’s academy.
The evening was a fitting tribute to a season of hard work and achievement, with Outwood looking to continue their success in 2025.
