Together with her husband Mike, Nikki played a vital role in developing and running the academy in its early days, shaping the future of many young cricketers. After her own children had graduated, she remained a dedicated presence, continuing to support the academy with administration and always offering a helping hand. Nikki was awarded the Gotts Cup for her off field support to the club in 2019.

A regular on match days, Nikki was known for her warmth, kindness, and her cricket teas. Her commitment, generosity, and unwavering support over the years will not be forgotten.

She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Our thoughts are with Mike and the family at this difficult time.

Nikki’s funeral is 28th March 14,00pm at Outwood St John’s The Baptist Church followed by a cricket tea at Outwood Cricket Club. Please note that dress code is not black! Nikki’s favourite colour was orange or something colourful.
